Brink

Just came back from tuition teacher's super belated raya open house.
What a lovely open house. I love our teacher.
Stupid Low spilled drink on my feet, twice.
Talked to Joey's father for the first time.
He was... friendly. :S

You know when you go out with friends you got mood to blog wan?
Well I've been dying to blog these past two weeks, about nice thought-worthy and squeal-worthy topics. When I'm studying I'm actually like blogging in my head, and I keep thinking, after finals I'll blog this, I'll blog that.
Today's the day before our last two papers tomorrow. Betcha after tomorrow I'll be sitting at the comp wondering what in the world to blog about.

Anyway, just wanted to tell you guys that CHEM III & PHY III are our last papers and after that we goin' paint this town red, yo!

And...

My biggest, utmost regret is that fate never permitted me to be part of your life.

Minding

Some things have been happening lately, all little signs that I should finally get down to writing about something that has been a constant on my mind for years and years and years.

However. FINALS NEXT WEEK, JACIETANCHENGHWEE.

So, instead, I shall post pictures of Arthur being gay that I've found on the web.

If the last looks familiar, it's because it's on my file, baby.

Shipping Time Away

It's called "shipping". Getting obsessed with a TV relationship between two characters. Usually they have cute little names for these "ships", like Brangelina - in this case, for Arthur and Morgana, it's ArMor. It's an unfairly doomed ship, and I found out on youtube WHY they make Arthur fall for Gwen instead HERE, unfair because they started it out in Season One and then suddenly killed it in Season Two...

Been reading up on Arthurian legend, watching youtube videos, searching for pictures...
What am I doing?

Wasting time.

And...

Heck, I don't know what's with the last one.

From here and here.

That's what you get when you study mod maths. You hear Pn. Norma's voice in your head, and then run screaming to get onto the computer to find something to distract yourself.

Oh, and, a smiley face for Nicole Low.

Inconsequential Nothings

Some inconsequential bits of nothingness before I kiss the computer goodbye.
  • I nearly said the F-word to Pn. Manjeet due to my frustration at my stupid speech being postponed to Friday for no apparent reason, when all I want to do is come to school late on that day, just for addmaths after recess.
  • Thanks to those who wished me good luck for it, and for Cha and LiSar for coming for nothing today, 'm afraid you'll have to wish me again for Friday.
  • I am very pissed that finals have been brought forward to next Thursday.
  • I am very pissed that finals are the standardised paper, which is ridiculous seeing as we have finished only the Pendidikan Moral syllabus and other schools aren't quite as stupid to actually use it.
  • I can't wait to finish watching Glee Season 1 so I can blog about it. But looks like that'll have to wait.
  • Time is precious; must skip school whenever rationally beneficial.
  • My appetite is, as usual, waning.
  • We had four periods of Physics today - more to come in an effort to finish up syllabus.
  • I actually called my dad to come pick me up to ponteng school after recess, but bailed and stayed due to extra Physics when my girls went back.
  • Pn. Rema asked, when you see Boyle's Law what do you think of? Answers: Susan Boyle, Slumdog Millionaire, Crabbe & Goyle. By Chalystha, unknown source and myself respectively. Pn. Rema just thinks of boiling water.
  • Am ditching Dr. Cafe for Coffee Bean.
  • Admitted by Hui Jan into the no-highschool-relationship club she and Tharini belong to - I've been single and unattached for sixteen years, and I resolve to continue it for the last remaining year.
  • I suddenly realised Roshan and I are using the exact same ballpoint pen and yelled out the fact of it right smack dab in the middle of Physics. Onnly two of us in the class have it; Pn. Rema: I can hear the harps playing in background.
  • Han Wey spit his saliva into my eye.
  • Will miss Hui Jan once I cut down going online.
  • My phone bill due to texts is off the charts.
  • Never listen to Mr. Elvin.
  • There are a lot of hotter Indian guys in my church.
  • I'd play a song on loop for hours on end while studying.
  • I want to marry a guy named Jesse. Satyan: So I'll see "Jesse weds Jacie" at the wedding?
  • I like Iris-y songs.
  • I miss Arthur and Morgana so bad.
  • I want to rewatch A Walk To Remember.
  • I want to watch How I Met Your Mother.
  • I want a cup of yoghurt ice cream everyday.
  • I want to read "Shit My Dad Says".
  • I want to matchmake people.
  • I want to curl up into a ball and cry.
  • I want to yumcha with my girls.
  • I should do this more often.
  • Thank you for making me smile.

From Gan and Cha

Chalystha Lee and Gan Yi Quan's blogs have been stagnant for a really long while, but the two of them made it up with their recent and long-awaited blogposts.

From Cha's blog:

Anywaysss, I went to school today, despite it being a Saturday. Becos our beloved Mr.Elvin wouldn't give us 4Adilians a break, even on Saturdays. Things I do for addmaths. [/shakeshead]
Thank God I had my darlingg JacieTanChengHwee. ♥ We boytalked / bitched / played taptap / sang / ate nasigorengkampung / talked about boys / gossiped / bitched somemore / talked about boys somemore. ;) Thats our specialty - boytalk. Shes like my boytalk partner. :D

Yeah, school on Saturdays're alright when you have awesome people to live through it with. She forgot about the part where we played pingpong on Edbert and Shau Yuan's desks using calculators as bats, though.

That was Nicole Low. I'm sorry.

And for the record, we didn't really bitch that much.

And here ma boy Gan deviated from his usual sexist-joke posts.

An Atheist Professor of Philosophy was speaking to his Class on the problem Science has with God, the Almighty. He asked one of his new Christian students to stand.
Professor: You are a Christian, aren't you, son?
Student: Yes, sir.
Professor: So, you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.
Professor: Is God good?
Student: Sure.
Professor: My brother died of cancer, even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is God good, then? Hmm?
(Student was silent)
Professor: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student: Yes.
Professor: Is Satan good?
Student: No.
Professor: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From.. God.
Professor: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.
Professor: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student: Yes.
Professor: So who created evil?
(Student didn't answer)
Professor: Is there sickness? Immortality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student: Yes, sir.
Professor: So, who created them?
(Student had no answer)
Professor: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son.. have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.
Professor: Tell us if you have ever heard your God.
Student: No, sir.
Professor: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God, for that matter?
Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Professor: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.
Professor: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, Science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my Faith.
Professor: Yes, Faith. And that is the problem Science has.
Student: Professor, is there such a thing as Heat?
Professor: Yes.
Student: And is there such a thing as Cold?
Professor: Yes.
Student: No, sir, there isn't.
(The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events)
Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of Heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.
(There was a pin-drop silence in the Lecture Theatre)
Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student: You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have Low Light, Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light... But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and it's called Darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it is, You would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student: Sir, my point is, your Philosophical Premise is flawed.
Professor: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student: Sir, you are working on the Premise of Duality. You argue there is Life and then there is Death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Professor: If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument was going)
Student: Since no one has ever observed the Process of Evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher?
(The class was in uproar)
Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class broke out into laughter)
Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? .. No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established Rules of Empirical, Stable and Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures?
(The room was silent. The Professor stared at the student, his face unfathomable)
Professor: I guess you'll have to take them on Faith, son.
Student: That is it, sir.. exactly! The link between man and God is Faith. That is all that keeps things alive and moving!
That student was Albert Einstein.

I don't know if this really happened, or where in the world Gan found it. God, faith, Einstein. You know what this reminds me of? A Walk To Remember. ♥

Said Nicole Low to me today,
"Let's not talk about Pn. Manjeet. You're getting mad."

Wise words from a wise person.

School tomorrow, because Mr. Elvin refuses to slack off even on Saturday when only a quarter of the class shows up.

Do you think I should bring my cactus to school?

Maybe not. Every time we turn around in school now to talk to each other there's this loud "OW!" because we prick ourselves on Nicole's stupid Evilow. At least Harry is relatively safe, and Pokee is in Joey's house. What shall I name mine?

Two of my best friends just left me talking to the wall on msn because they both went to shit at the same time.

What. The. Eff.

Idiots. No mood to blog liao la. Signing off.
