You inspired me

I saw you only for a fraction of time

But you, being what you were, managed to make me want to be a better person

You made me want to get up and make a difference

I looked in the mirror, and I wanted to change myself to change the world

You made want to me pick myself up

You made me want to brighten up my life

But then I never saw you again

And now the feeling's going away

So I ask myself

Was it worth it

Or was it all a waste of time?

But I know I'll get over this

Although our paths crossed once

Although I fell in love

Now we're living in parallel worlds

Never to meet again.
